This Partnership is a publicly traded pipeline limited partnership whose limited partner units are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "KMP." Additionally, the shares of their subsidiary that manages the Partnership, Kinder Morgan Management, LLC, are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "KMR." The Partnership was formed in Delaware in August 1992 and is one of the largest energy transportation and storage companies in North America in terms of market capitalization.
